 IntroductionKahu is a Hawaiian word which translates to; guardian, honored attendant, and keeper. My roots are in Hawaii, I grew up there and my heart will always belong to the Islands. I chose to give an honored Hawaiian name to my kennel, depicting what the Cane Corso is to me, and also who I am. We recently moved to Bangalore, India from the U.S, and brought with us our first Cane Corso puppy. We had fallen in love with the breed in our search for our next family pet, and when we finally acquired our first puppy, we immediately saw just how different the breed was from all the others. Their loyalty, strength, protectiveness, intelligence, work ability, and overall temperament are second to none. When we arrived here we saw and opportunity to start something new and exciting! We had already decided the Cane Corso was the dog for us, and wanted to promote them here and give others the chance to meet this incredible breed. So after much research, and guidance from experienced breeders all over the world, we decided to start Kahu Cane Corso. We have high hopes for our first litter and the bright future of our breeding program! Please take the time to look around our site. They will execute their tenacity and power if they feel their family or themselves are being threatened. So proper socialization, and obedience training are a must. But with that said, you will never find a more loyal and faithful family/guardian dog in the world. They are truly "Gentle Giants" and will give their life to protect you and your family if called upon. The Cane Corso is an amazing and unique breed. Those lucky enough to have one in their home are truly blessed.
